CRISFIELD - Virginia F. Mister, 97, died Sunday, January 14, 2007, at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.
Born in Deal Island on May 8, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Nettie Northam White. Her husband, James Garland "Tighty" Mister, died July 28, 1994.
A homemaker, she was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Crisfield where she was a faithful member of the Pollyanna Sunday School Class. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and cooking.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond Mister and his wife, Bobbie Jean, and Richard A. Mister and his wife, Marilyn, all of Crisfield; four grandchildren and their spouses, Debbie and Nelson Brice of Crisfield, Mark and Brenda Mister of Hebron, Billy and Barbara Mister of Allen, and Derik and Jodi Mister of Marion Station; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James White.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at 11 a.m., at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. The Rev. Bob Daniels officiated. Burial was in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
