CAMBRIDGE - Virgil A. Seward Jr., 88, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007 at Mallard Bay Care Center.

Marjorie "Marnie" Mann
PRESTON - Marjorie "Marnie" Mann, 71, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007 at the Caroline Home for Hospice in Denton.
She was born Feb. 11, 1936 in Wildwood, N.J. daughter of the late William Austin Batts and Marjorie Buckalew Batts.
Mrs. Mann retired in 1985 as a registered nurse. She volunteered at the Diagnositc Center in Denton, Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Easton, Caroline Hospice Foundation and Caroline Home For Hospice.
Mrs. Mann is survived by her husband, Dalton Lee Mann of Preston; one daughter, Linda Louise Mann of Springfield, Va.; two sons, William Guy of Dallas, Texas and Raymond Carl Mann of Irving, Texas and one sister, Susan Layton of Huntington Beach, Calif.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday at the Unity Washington United Methodist Church in Hurlock. Services will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bonnie Shively officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Washington Cemetery.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Caroline Home For Hospice, P.O. Box 362, Denton, MD 21629.
The Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market is handling the arrangements.
