TRAPPE - Vernia Lutrica Flood, 84, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Genesis Elder Care (The Pines) in Easton.
She was born Jan. 8, 1924 in Easton to the late Eary Etta Murray and Noah Solomon Frazier.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Flood and three brothers, Richard Frazier, Noah Frazier and Randolph Frazier.
She is survived by one daughter, Judith Chambers and husband, Wille of Easton; one son, Richard Flood and wife, hattie of Bridgeport, Conn.; three granchildren, Carrisa Chambers of Winston-Salem, N.C., Yvonne Flood and James Flood of Bridgeport, Conn.; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward Frazier; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by two special friends, Edith Murray and Eunice Bailey, both of Trappe.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the Bennie Smith Funeral home in Easton where friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. burial will be in the Eastern Shore Maryland Veterans' Cemetery near Hurlock on Monday.
