UMES hosts wind energy seminar

PRINCESS ANNE — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore hosts a wind energy seminar Thursday, June 18 at 1 p.m. in the Richard A. Henson Center, room 1112.

David Phillippi, an engineer with Princeton Energy Resources International, presents, “Introduction to UMES Wind Energy:  Resource Assessment.” Topics covered include:  the new met tower, instrumentation, data analysis, the WindPRO model and case studies. University constituencies, local utilities and the community are invited to attend.
