PRINCESS ANNE — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore had 22 former women’s bowlers that made the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference’s (MEAC) All-Time team.
The members of The Shore that made the squad are Mariana Alvarado, Megan Buja, T’nia Falbo, Kristina Frahm, Alexandra Hernandez, Cayla Hicks, Brigitte Jacobs, Victoria Jones, Maryetta Lewis, Kristie Lopez, Tatiana Munoz, Martha Perez, Anggie Ramirez, Jacqueline Rhoda, Maria Rodriguez, Thashaina Seraus, Marion Singleton, Chloe Skurzynski, Paula Vilas, Michelle Wallace, Jessica Worsley and Laura Zanrucha.
Maryland Eastern Shore made up nearly half of the 50 former student athletes on the all-time team that competed in the conference. The accomplishments of the Hawks that made the squad are below.
Alvarado: Two-time First Team All-MEAC (2013- 14, 2014-15); 2012-13 Second Team All-MEAC; Two-time NTCA All-American (Second Team 2014-15, Honorable Mention 2012-13); 2012 MEAC Rookie of the Year; 2012 NCAA champion; 2014 MEAC Tournament Outstanding Performer
Buja: 2013-14 First Team All-MEAC; NTCA All-American (Third Team) in 2013-14
Falbo: 2012 MEAC Bowler of the Year; Two-time First Team All-MEAC (2011-12, 2012-13); Two-time NTCA All-American (Third Team 2011-12, 2012-13), Two-time NCAA champion (2011, 2012)
Frahm: 2010-11 First Team All-MEAC; two-time Second Team All-MEAC (2008-09, 2009-10); Four-time NTCA All-American (First Team 2007-08, 2010-11, Honorable Mention 2008-09, 2009-10); 2007-08 NTCA Rookie of the Year; Two-time NCAA champion (2008, 2011); 2008 MEAC Tournament Outstanding Performer.
