Timothy J. Kraemer

SALISBURY - Timothy Joseph Kraemer died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, at his home, surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia, he grew up in Edgewater Park, N.J., and was the son of the late Frank and Theodora Skoniesny Kraemer.
He was a Senior Engineer working for NRG Energy at the Vienna and Indian River Power Plants. At the time of his death, he had been with the company for over 38 years. A longtime member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Salisbury, he also volunteered many seasons coaching softball, soccer and baseball as well as volunteering at YMCA swim meets. He also served as a volunteer with Boy Scouts.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah M. Kraemer; three children, Laura K. Bernstein, Amy K. Carpenter and Thomas J. Kraemer; four grandchildren; a brother, Robert Kraemer; two sisters, Marianne Kraemer and Susan Kraemer; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Marie Kraemer; and a brother, Gerald Kraemer.
A memorial service was held Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at Providence Presbyterian Church in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
