SALISBURY - Thelma Walston, 94, of Salisbury, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2014. Born in Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel F. and Lena R. Hobbs. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She is survived by her children, John Walston, Sharon Sellers and Steve Walston; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Walston, Sr.; daughter, Nancy W. Raddie; two brothers and five sisters. A graveside service was held Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. Contributions may be made to the Old Friendship United Methodist Church, 32740 West Post Office Rd., Princess Anne, MD 21853 or the Wicomico County Humane Society, 5130 Citation Dr., Salisbury, MD 21804. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
