Susan J. Overholt, 76 POCOMOKE CITY -- Susan J. Overholt, 76, of Pocomoke City, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at her home. Born in Girdletree on July 6, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Pruella Tarr. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Charles Overholt of Pocomoke City; three children, Bruce Ward Sr. of Girdletree, Connie Sue Mason of Pocomoke City and Tammy Mae Sterling and husband Trelle of Pocomoke City; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren,; three stepchildren; five step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Elizabeth Rutter; and two special friends, Priscilla Ward and Jane Nunamaker. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Edison Ward; a son, Roy Lee Ward; and two stepchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday, at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home, Crisfield. Interment was in Quinton Cemetery, Pocomoke City.
