Stanley T. Mason

SALISBURY - Stanley T. "Stan" Mason died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at his home in Salisbury. Born in Greenbush, Va., he was the son of the late Colie and Gladys Wescott Mason.
He relocated with his family to Sussex County and graduated from the former Wm C. Jason High School in Georgetown. He then attended Delaware Technical & Community College. He was formerly employed with General Foods in Dover, Chrysler Corp. in Wilmington and National Cash Register in Salisbury. He retired after 25 years from Delmarva Power's Indian River Plant, where he was a Control Operator.
His survivors include his wife, Geraldine Mason of Salisbury; one son, Corey Mason of Blades; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, seven siblings, Diane and Franklin of Dover, Darryl of Harbeson, Colie of New Castle, Rodney of Millsboro, Thurman of Milton and David Mason of Georgetown; and a host of nieces and nephews. A son, Dennis Mason, died in 2010.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at the Da'Nang Room the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury. Interment was in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury.
