WESTOVER — The Somerset County Board of Education has announced bus routes for all schools which will open for students on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017. Students are urged to be at their bus stop EARLY on opening day, after which a definite schedule pattern will be established. The school day will begin at 7:30 a.m. for high school students, 7:35 a.m. for Somerset Intermediate School students, and 8:40 am for the elementary schools.   Adjustments may have to be made after the opening of school because of overloading, safety and efficiency.   The Board of Education has announced a walking distance of one mile for elementary students and one and one-half miles for high school students. Also, please note that Crisfield students in grades 1-5 residing in Somers Cove Units # 201-280 will walk to and from school. All Pre-K & K as well as Somerset Intermediate School students will be provided transportation.
