Parents will learn from health department staff, while their children will be taught by Judy Center staff in this one-hour session that will give parents the opportunity to learn about healthy fruits, and vegetables and eating healthy within a budget while navigating the aisles of the grocery store. Participating children 6 and under will engage in a fun alphabet scavenger hunt at the store, will learn about healthy food choices and will work together to create a picture book. All children will receive a free copy of this book. All participants will receive take home snacks, books and a chance to win a Food Lion Gift Card.
