SALISBURY - Shirley Ann "Aunt Shirley" Walker died Thursday, Apr. 13, 2017, AT Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Moultrie, Ga., she was the biological daughter of the late Novella Rogers Jones Wright. She was also the stepdaughter of the late Freeman Wright. She was employed with several companies, including Perdue Farms, Campbell Soup Co. and Showell Poultry. She was a devoted member of Cathedral of Restoration, where she served as church mother, choir member, Usher Board, Pastor's Aide and Sunday School Committees. Two sons, one sister and one brother preceded her in death. Her survivors include a daughter, Sandra D. Walker; a sister, Laura Mae Lofton, both of Salisbury; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held at Cathedral of Restoration in Salisbury. Interment was at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury.
