Sheriff's Office posts recent incidents and arrests

WESTOVER — The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office posts the following incidents and arrests.

 

Two juvenile males arrested 5-6-17 for possession of marijuana, and underage possession of alcohol. Deputies were called to the area of the Food Lion Shopping Center, Crisfield regarding occupants of a vehicle throwing eggs in the area. Deputies later recovered beer, and marijuana from the vehicle. Both juveniles were cited, and released to parents pending court actions.

 

Samuel Oluwatobi Adedeji of Clarksburg, Maryland, arrested 5-7-17 for driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, and unsafe lane changes. Adedeji was later released on citations pending court actions. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop conducted by Deputies in the area of UMES Blvd, Princess Anne.

 

Joseph George Hoffman, Janie Frances Jenkins, and Phillip Aaron Marshall, arrested 5-12-17 for CDS possession, not marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. All three subjects were held on bond. The arrest was the result of an investigation of a vehicle by Deputies in the parking lot area of Bip’s Towing. Deputies later recovered suspected cocaine, and smoking devices.

 

Carla Ann Renee Ruf of Westover, arrested 5-15-17 on three outstanding warrants. Ruf was later held without bond.

 

Guy Edwin Edley Jr. of Princess Anne, criminal summons served 5-15-17 for 2nd degree assault. Edley was later released on signature pending court actions.

 

Stanford Isaac Thomas of Marion Station, arrested 5-15-17 on a warrant for violation of probation. Thomas was later held without bond.

 

Stephen Vincent Schuckert of Salisbury, arrested 5-15-17 on a warrant for violation of probation. Schuckert was later held on a $20,000 bond.

 

Alkaben Patel of the Kings Creek Market, Princess Anne, cited 5-17-17 for selling tobacco products to a person underage. Patel was released on citations pending court actions.

 

Darren Terrell Whittington of Princess Anne, arrested 5-19-17 on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Whittington was later held on a $250.00 bond.

 

Elizabeth Ann Thomas of Marion Station, arrested 5-20-17 on a warrant for violation of probation. Thomas was later held without bond.

 

Maria Lynn Harris of Princess Anne, arrested 5-20-17 for 4th degree burglary, trespassing, and resisting arrest. Harris was later held on a $10,000 bond. Harris allegedly entered an apartment in the Greenwood Gardens Apartment Complex without the consent of the tenant.

 

Dante Antony Curtis of Princess Anne, arrested 5-24-17 on a warrant for violation of probation. Curtis was later held without bond.
