SALISBURY - Sharon Lynette Ennis died at her home on Friday, April 13, 2018. Born in Salisbury, she was a daughter of Sharon Christine Sprague Hoffman of Eden and the late Gary Wayne Bailey.
She graduated in 1987 from Wicomico High School and then worked as a secretary for White & Leonard Stationery Co. in Salisbury. She enjoyed being a member of the Bi-State Drum and Majorette Corps, where she was a talented baton twirler and played the bells. She also traveled with her dad to sing with him at local shows and was a member of Community of Joy Church in Salisbury.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 30 years, Norman Allen Ennis; daughters, Ashley Martin and Sara Cox; four grandchildren; a sister, Michelle Bailey; her maternal grandmother, Iona Sprague; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Harvey Sprague; and her step-father, Harry Hoffman.
A funeral service was held Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Community of Joy Church in Salisbury. Interment was at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
