Sharon Hope Winters

Fruitland - Sharon Hope Winters died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014. She was the daughter of Mary Hope McNiven Gloster of South Port, NC. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Gloster. She is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, Russell Clark Winters; three children, Kelly Hope Dawkins of Phoenixville, Pa., Timothy Clark Winters of Dover, N.H., and Carolyn Clair Dunsten of Annapolis; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Kathy Bond of South Port, N.C., and Eileen Jassowski of El Dorado, Calif. A member of Asbury United Methodist Church, she loved knitting sweaters for her and loved ones. She could often be found having her morning tea and enjoying the birds on her back porch. A funeral service was held on Tuesday at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Salisbury. Arrangements were in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
