Salisbury - Sara Maria Skelly passed away on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, at A. F. Whitsitt Center in Chestertown. Born in Garden City, Mich., she was the daughter of Kathleen Anne Bates of Salisbury and Gregg Allan Skelly of N.C. She had worked for Halo Bargain Center as an assistant manager and Peninsula Regional Medical Center as a phlebotomist. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Salisbury. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by two sons, Gregg James Skelly and Matthew Daniel Skelly of Salisbury; a brother, the Rev. Kerrigan Shawn Skelly and his wife, Angela of Breeding, Ky.; two stepsisters, Marybeth Tiedmann and Kathleen Spacain; grandparents, James Skelly of Michigan and Alice Bates of New York; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held last Thursday at Holloway Funeral Home. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home.
