CAMBRIDGE - Sandra J. Meredith, 68, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006 at Dorchester General Hospital.
She was born in Cambridge on Jan. 24, 1938 and was a daughter of the late Howard U. Bloom Sr. and Hazel Burton Bramble.
Mrs. Meredith graduated from Cambridge High School in 1956. For years, she worked at Airpax and later she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters: Lori Harvey of Cambridge, Teri Marshall and husband, Wayne of East New Market, Kris Ruark and husband, Buddy of Cambridge; a granddaughter whom she raised as a daughter, Shana Lane and husband, Leon of Cambridge; grandchildren, Roy Harvey Jr. of Cambridge, Carla Insley and husband, Greg of East New Market, Kevin George of Cambridge, Jessica B. George of Cambridge, Courtney Foxwell of Trappe, Colby Foxwell of East New Market, Amber Unsworth of Cambridge; great-grandchildren, Jessica Bradford of Salisbury, Corbin Insley of East New Market, Kaila George of Cambridge, Chloe Insley of East New Market; two brothers, Howard Bloom and wife, Evelyn of East New Market and Walter Bloom and wife, Wanda of Cambridge; an uncle, Allen Burton and wife, Geneva of Cambridge; an aunt, Betty Bloom; four stepchildren, Jay Meredith, Edward Meredith, John Meredith and Jackie Parks, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
