Salisbury Zoo Stampede 5K Run/Walk Saturday, April 25

SALISBURY — The Salisbury Zoo will host Zoo Stampede sponsored by VP Shoes on Saturday, April 25 at 9am. The run/walk starts at the Zoo’s east gate and runs thru the City Park and its wooded trails. This race is catered to all runners and walkers and is fun for the whole family! After the race VP Shoes and the Zoo will give away random prizes to race participants. Prizes will be given to the top finishers in every age category.

A free race tech shirt will be given to the first 150 participants. Age categories start at 12 and under and go up to 70 and above. This year the Salisbury chapter of “Athletes Serving Athletes” will be participating in the 5K. VP shoes and the Salisbury Zoo are very excited to sponsor their entrance fees for their participation.

Participants can pre-register for $20.00 at VP Shoes or at the Salisbury Zoo- Printable form on the web at www.salisburyzoo.org. Participants may also register on the day of the race for $25.00 between 7:30 A.M and 8:30 A.M. at the Zoo’s East Gate (opposite Ben’s Red Swings). Salisbury Zoo Tech shirts will go out to the first 150 applicants, so register today! For more information, call Mary Seemann at 410-860-6880 ext. 8.
