Rodney Albert Roberts

Roberts, 67 MARION STATION - Rodney Albert Roberts of Marion Station, formerly of Baltimore, died Thurs., July 4, 2013 at his home. Born in Baltimore June 30, 1946, he was a son of the late Brooklyn Bryan and Olga Elizabeth Chepaitis Roberts. He had been making his home in Marion Station for the past 15 years. He was a retired sprinkler fitter in Baltimore, and most recently was a greeter at Walmart in Pocomoke City. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran and had a love for animals. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Anthony Roberts. He is survived by his sister, Patricia Fulcher and husband Pete of Marion Station; his nephews and niece, William "Billy" Fulcher of Sacramento, Calif., Edward Roberts of Glen Burnie, and Deborah Norfolk of Princess Anne; and several great-nieces and nephews. A viewing was held Thurs., July 11, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. A graveside committal service with military honors followed at 2 p.m. at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, Md. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
