DELMAR - Robert "Bob" William Yeadt died peacefully at home on Aug. 30, 2017. Bob in Staten Island, N.Y., he was the son of the late William and Eva Bishop Yeadt He attended Delmar High School and Goldey-Beacom College, and was an Army veteran who served in Korea. He worked as a mechanic at DuPont Co. in Seaford, retiring after 25 years. He was also a top poultry grower for Perdue Farms. He was a member of the local VFW in Delmar, the Civil Air Patrol and the Eastern Shore Region Antique Automobile Club.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Annie Mae Wilkins Yeadt; three children, Virginia Seefried of Clayton, N.C., Robin Yeadt and Sue Gaidurgis, both of Delmar; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
