Reginald W. Dunnock

Reginald W. Dunnock, 97

CAMBRIDGE - Reginald W. Dunnock, 97, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008 at Chesapeake Woods Center.

He was born in Madison on July 14, 1910 and was a son of the late William J. and Sallie Jane Trego Dunnock.

Mr. Dunnock attended schools in Dorchester County. Mr. Dunnock married the former Eugenia Parker.

He was Vice President of Cambridge Manufacturing Co., worked as a sales representative for Perdue, sold real estate for years and operated Town and Country Realty in Salisbury.

Mr. Dunnock had been attending Grace United Methodist Church in Cambridge.

He was an avid beagle owner and won numerous trophies for his beagles. Mr. Dunnock was a member of the Peninsula Beagle Club. He also had been involved with horse racing and had been part owner of a race horse. Mr. Dunnock was an avid gardner.

Mr. Dunnock is survived by his wife, Eugenia Dunnock of Cambridge; a daughter, Kathleen Willey of Cambridge; a grandson, Greg Willey of Norfolk, Va.; a granddaughter, Cindy Langrall of Illinois; a great-grandson, Martin Langrall; two special nieces, Jane Hessler of East New Market and Mary Todd of Cedar Grove and several other nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Mr. Dunnock was preceded in death by four brothers, William Dunnock, Carl Dunnock, John Dunnock and Samuel Dunnock; six sisters, Leila Marshall, Mary Harrison, Sadie Dunnock, Mildred Jester, Edith Dunnock and Virgie Kraft.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, at Mardela Cemetery with Evangelist Pete Short from the Milford Church of Christ in Milford, Del. officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
