HURLOCK - Ralph N. Johnson Jr., 65, died Friday, April 25, 2008 at Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge.
He was born March 1, 1943 in St. Johnsbury, Vt., the son of the late Ralph N. Johnson Sr. and Helen Mosher. He attended schools in St. Johnsbury and Connecticut, and served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Johnson was a truck driver and had worked for a number of trucking companies. For the past 18 years he worked for Robert Hastings and Jim Burt, moving portable classrooms in Montgomery County.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Reid Johnson; two daughters, Michelle Bauguess and Tina Johnson; two sons, Roy Johnson and Mark Johnson; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Hoeuenaars and her husband Walt; six grandsons, Ryan, Josh and Noah Bauguess, Zach and Logan Waller, and Mark Johnson; two granddaughters, Kelsi and Heather Johnson; two step grandsons, D.J. and Adam Bowie; a sister, Nancy DeRoche and a half-brother, Stephen Mosher; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Francis Mosher and a stepson, J.R. Adams.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. today at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Beulah. The Rev. Douglas Ridley will officiate. Friends and family are welcome to visit the family home at any time. The Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market is handling the arrangements.
