WESTOVER — For several years, one of most anticipated events of the year in Somerset County Public Schools has been the school system's Art Show which showcases student art from elementary school through and including high school.

Several hundred creations will be on display Monday, April 27 at the Board Conference Room at the J.M. Tawes Technology and Career Center and will continue to be on display from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday up to and including Friday, May 15.

On the first night (April 27), the opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Art from a wide spectrum of media will be on display. Secondary Supervisor William Gray said, "The student art is outstanding. In addition there are more than 125 additional pieces beyond what was shown last year."
