PRINCESS ANNE — Princess Anne Police Chief Tim Bozman announces the following recent incidents and arrests.

  • On 8-12-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Antonio Ray Maness, 30, of Princess Anne, Maryland for assault second degree. The arrest stemmed from a domestic dispute located at 12360 Somerset Avenue.  Maness was charged with assault second degree and was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Maness on a $15,000.00 unsecure bond.

 

  • On 8-10-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Quincy Fontaine, 28, of Princess Anne, Maryland for driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Fontaine was found to be the operator of the vehicle.  Fontaine was charged with driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol per se, driving a vehicle while impaired, negligent driving, failure to display registration card, failure to display a license, driving without a license, driving on a suspended license, failure to notify administration of address change, doing forbidden act or failure to perform required act pertaining to driver’s license, and failure to display lighted lamps in unfavorable visibility conditions.  Fontaine was subsequently released from custody upon being issued his citations.

 

  • On 8-9-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Kristen Elizabeth Bailey, 19, of Princess Anne, Maryland for assault second degree. The arrest stemmed from a domestic dispute located at 30446 Pine Street.  Bailey was charged with assault second degree and was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Bailey on personal recognizance.

 

  • On 8-8-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Renee Michell Lane, 26, of Salisbury, Maryland with two District Court bench warrants. One warrant was out of Wicomico County for failure to appear while the second warrant was out of Somerset County for failure to appear.  Lane was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Lane on personal recognizance.

 

  • On 8-8-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Dwayne Deshaun Handy, 27, of Horntown, Virginia with an outstanding District Court bench warrant for failure to appear. Handy was seen by a District Court commissioner who issued a $10,000.00 bond.  Handy was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.
