PRINCESS ANNE — Chief Timothy Bozman announces the latest incidents and arrests by the Princess Anne Police Department.

 

  • On 10-18-15, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Cynthia Lavon Beckett, 39, of Princess Anne Maryland for first degree assault. The arrest stemmed from an assault investigation that occurred at 30500 Riggins Street where Beckett was found to be involved in a confrontation with another person. Beckett was charged with first and second degree assault and reckless endangerment. Beckett was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $35,000.00 bond. Beckett was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 10-18 -15, the Princess Anne Police Department served a District Court Criminal Summons on Tamarah Elizabeth Wolford, 22, of Princess Anne Maryland.       The criminal summons charged Wolford with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, obstructing and hindering, and making a false statement to a police officer. The charges stemmed from a disturbance complaint that occurred on 10-6-15 at 12260 Anne’s Way.

 

  • On 10-18-15, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Tina Marie Cutler, 46, of Princess Anne Maryland with failure to stop after an unattended property damage accident. The charge stemmed from a motor vehicle crash investigation that occurred on 10-7-15 at the PNC Bank, located at 30389 Mt. Vernon Road. Cutler was issued her citations and released from custody.

 

  • On 10-13-15, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 14 year old juvenile, of Princess Anne Maryland with trespassing. The charge stemmed from a trespassing complaint at the Becky’s Store located at 11404 Beckford Avenue where the juvenile was found to be on the property after being notified not to return to the property in June of 2015. The juvenile was released into the custody of a guardian and the case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

 

  • On 10-8-15, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Andre Demetris Dennis, 40, of Princess Anne Maryland with trespassing. The charge stemmed from a trespassing complaint at the Royal Farms Store located at 30452 Mt. Vernon Road where Dennis was found to be on the property after being notified not to return to the property in June of 2013. Dennis was issued a criminal citation for trespassing and was then released from custody.
