PRINCESS ANNE — The Princess Anne Police Department announces the following incidents and arrests.

  • On 10-19-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Anthony Lowell Horsey, 49, of Marion Maryland for driving under the influence of alcohol. The arrest stemmed from an investigation at the Royal Farms Store parking lot located at 30452 Mt. Vernon Road.  Horsey was released from custody upon being issued traffic citations.

 

  • On 10-19-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Obinna Uzoma Ilochonwu, 23, of Cheverly Maryland for trespassing. The arrest stemmed from officers observing Ilochonwu in the Talons Square South apartment complex, located at 30515 UMES Boulevard, after being ordered not to return to the complex since Ilochonwu was not a registered guest.  Ilochonwu was released from custody after being issued a criminal citation for trespassing.

 

  • On 10-18-14, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 14 year old juvenile of Princess Anne Maryland for theft less than $100.00. The charge stemmed from a shoplifting complaint at the Dollar General Store, located at 30371 Mt. Vernon Road.  The case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

 

  • On 10-18-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Christopher Royston Brathwaite, 23, of Princess Anne Maryland in reference to an outstanding District Court Arrest Warrant. The warrant charged Brathwaite with two counts of assault second degree, reckless endangerment, and false imprisonment.  The case stemmed from an assault investigation at 30544 Pine Knoll Drive.  Brathwaite was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $30,000.00 bond.  Brathwaite was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 10-16-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Frank Lee Spence, 51, of Princess Anne Maryland in reference to an outstanding parole retake warrant. Spence was released into the custody of the Eastern Correctional Institution.

 

  • On 10-16-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Brian Joseph Ward, 18, of Barclay Maryland for driving on a suspended driver’s license. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Ward was found to be the operator.  Ward was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license and also with possession of marijuana under 10 grams on a civil citation.  Ward was released from custody upon being issued his citations.

 

  • On 10-16-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Tenika Desire Clark, 22, of Princess Anne Maryland in reference to two outstanding District Court Bench Warrants for failure to appear. Clark was seen by a District Court Commissioner who releases Clark on personal recognizance.

 

  • On 10-14-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Zarnab Tity Bangura, 20, of Princess Anne, Maryland for theft under $100.00. The arrest stemmed from a shoplifting complaint at the Family Dollar Store located at 12175 Elm Street.  Bangura was released from custody after being issued a criminal citation for theft less than $100.00.

 

  • On 10-14-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Felix Buabeng, 38, of Princess Anne Maryland for assault first degree. The arrest stemmed from an assault investigation that occurred at 11210 Old Princess Anne Road.  Buabeng was charged with assault 1st degree, assault 2nd degree, and reckless endangerment.  Buabeng was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $150,000.00 bond.  Buabeng was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 10-14-14, the Princess Anne Police Department served a District Court Criminal Summons on Barbara Osei Tutu, 23, of Princess Anne Maryland. The criminal summons charged Tutu with assault 1st degree, assault 2nd degree, and reckless endangerment.  The criminal summons stemmed from an assault case that occurred at 11210 Old Princess Anne Road.

 

  • On 10-10-14, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Juwan Rasheed Jamison-Williams, 19, of Hagerstown Maryland with littering and possession of marijuana under 10 grams. The charges stemmed from a traffic stop where Jamison-Williams was found to be a passenger.  Jamison-Williams was released from custody upon being issued a criminal citation for littering and a civil citation for possession of marijuana.

 

  • On 10-10-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Josephine Marie Vinson, 62, of Eden Maryland for failure to obey a lawful order. The arrest stemmed from a disturbance that occurred at the PNC Bank located at 30389 Mt. Vernon Road.  Vinson was released from custody upon being issued a criminal citation.

 

  • On 10-6-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested a 14 year old juvenile of Princess Anne Maryland for theft less than $100.00. The arrest stemmed from a shoplifting complaint at the Dollar General Store, located at 30371 Mt. Vernon Road.  The juvenile was released into the custody of a parent and the case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

 

  • On 10-6-14, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Basil Edward Fontaine Jr, 22, of Crisfield Maryland in reference to an outstanding District Court Bench Warrant. Fontaine was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Fontaine on personal recognizance.
