Princess Anne Police post latest incidents and arrests

PRINCESS ANNE — Princess Anne Police Chief Tim Bozman posts the latest incidents and arrests reported by his department.

  • On 8-26-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Charles Alex Showell Jr., 50, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court arrest warrant. The arrest warrant charged Showell Jr. with assault first degree, assault second degree, reckless endangerment, handgun on person, and firearm use in violent/felony crime in regards to an incident that occurred on 8-25-17 at 11825 Beechwood Street.  Showell Jr. was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued no bond.  Showell Jr. was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 8-23-17, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Andre Demetris Dennis, 42, of Princess Anne, Maryland with trespassing. The charge stemmed from officers observing Dennis at the Royal Farms store, located at 30452 Mt. Vernon Road after being previously banned from the property.  Dennis was issued criminal citations for trespassing and failure to obey a lawful order.  Dennis was subsequently released from custody upon being issued his criminal citations.

 

  • On 8-21-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Deshawn Maurice Taylor, 27, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court arrest warrant. The arrest warrant charged Taylor with two counts of harassment and two counts of telephone misuse in regards to a series of incidents that occurred between 7-21-17 and 7-25-17.  Taylor was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Taylor on a $5,000.00 unsecure bond.

 

  • On 8-21-17, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 14-year-old juvenile, of Princess Anne, Maryland with assault second degree. The charge stemmed from an assault investigation that occurred in the Pine Knoll Drive area.  The case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

 

  • On 8-19-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Kimyala Monae Tolbert, 27, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court bench warrant. The bench warrant was for failure to appear and Tolbert was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Tolbert on personal recognizance.

 

  • On 8-14-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Britney Deshan White, 27, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court criminal summons. The criminal summons charged White with assault second degree and sex offense fourth degree in regards to an incident that occurred on 8-4-17 at 12165 Elm Street.  White was released from custody upon receiving her copy of the criminal summons.

 

  • On 8-13-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Tavion Lavelle Crawford, 23, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court arrest warrant. The arrest warrant charged Crawford with three counts of assault first degree, three counts of assault second degree, three counts of reckless endangerment, dangerous weapon with intent to injure, and handgun on person in regards to an incident that occurred on 7-20-17 at the Princess Anne Townhouses located at Pine Knoll Drive.  Crawford was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued no bond.  Crawford was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.
