Princess Anne Police post latest incidents and arrests

PRINCESS ANNE - Princess Anne Police Chief Tim Bozman reports the latest incidents and arrests handled by his department.

 

  • On 6-1-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Robin Lyn Cox, 34, of Dames Quarter, Maryland with an outstanding District Court criminal summons. The criminal summons charged Cox with 3 counts of theft less than $100.00 and 2 counts of credit card theft in regards to an incident that occurred on 5-22-17 at 11545 Somerset Avenue.

 

  • On 6-1-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Sara Ann Gordon, 26, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court criminal summons. The criminal summons charged Gordon with 2 counts of fraud/identity theft less than $1,000.00, credit card/stolen, theft less than $1,000.00, theft scheme less than $1,000.00, and several other related credit card theft charges in regards to an investigation that was initiated in June of 2016 in the Princess Anne Townhouses.  Gordon was subsequently released upon receiving her copy of the criminal summons.

 

  • On 5-29-17, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Angela Marie Distefano, 36, of Princess Anne, Maryland with failure to obey a lawful order. The charge stemmed from a disturbance complaint at 30811 Shockley Lane.  Distefano was subsequently released upon being issued a criminal citation for failure to obey a lawful order.

 

  • On 5-27-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Zoe Lee Benton, 26, of Chance, Maryland with an outstanding District Court criminal summons. The criminal summons charged Benton with making a false statement to an officer in regards to a false theft report Benton filed on 5-23-17.  Benton was released from custody upon being served with her copy of the criminal summons.

 

  • On 5-27-17, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Derreck Bradley Palmer, 28, of Princess Anne, Maryland with possession of marijuana under 10 grams. The charge stemmed from Palmer being a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation and being in possession of marijuana.  Palmer was issued a civil citation and subsequently released.
