Princess Anne Police post latest incidents and arrests

PRINCESS ANNE — Princess Anne Police Chief Timothy Bozman announces the latest incidents and arrests.

 

  • On 4-19-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Jacqueline E. Leatherbury, 26, of Westover, Maryland with an outstanding District Court arrest warrant.  The arrest warrant charged Leatherbury with burglary 1st degree, conspiracy to commit burglary 1st degree, burglary 3rd degree, conspiracy to commit burglary 3rd degree, burglary 4th degree, conspiracy to commit burglary 4th degree, theft $1,000.00 to under $10,000.00, and conspiracy to commit theft $1,000.00 to under $10,000.00 in regards to an incident that occurred on 3-21-17 at 30420 Pine Street.  Leatherbury was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $50,000.00 bond.  Leatherbury was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 4-19-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Marlene R. Jones, 47, of Princess Anne, Maryland with a District Court criminal summons.  The criminal summons charged Jones with theft less than $100.00 in regards to an incident that occurred on 4-17-17 at 30757 Antioch Avenue.  Jones was released from custody upon being issued her copy of the criminal summons.

 

  • On 4-16-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Kenneth Joseph Passwaters, 36, of Delmar, Delaware for an outstanding District Court bench warrant for failure to appear.  Passwaters was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $20,000.00 bond.  Passwaters was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

  • On 4-15-17, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Thomas Dawayne Green, 18, of Reisterstown, Maryland with failure to obey a lawful and reasonable order.   The charges stemmed from officers observing Green on the property of the Arden’s Run apartment complex located at UMES Boulevard after being given a lawful order to leave the complex.  Green was subsequently released from custody after being issued a criminal citation for failure to obey a lawful and reasonable order.

 

  • On 4-14-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Angela Elizabeth Collins, 39, of Princess Anne, Maryland with two District Court bench warrants out of Wicomico County for failure to appear.  Collins was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Collins on personal recognizance.

 

  • On 4-13-17, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 17-year-old juvenile, of Mount Vernon, Maryland with assault 2nd degree and disorderly conduct.  The charges stemmed from an assault complaint at the Food Lion store, located at 12158 Brittingham Lane.  The case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

  • On 4-12-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Treal Deann Mccarden, 20, of Princess Anne, Maryland and Deja A. Ortiz, 21, of Princess Anne, Maryland with District Court body attachments for failure to appear. Both Mccarden and Oritz were seen by a District Court Commissioner who released them on personal recognizance.

 

  • On 4-12-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Travis Townsend, 25, of Princess Anne, Maryland with a violation of parole warrant.  Townsend was released into the custody of the Eastern Correctional Institution.

 

  • On 4-10-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Charlena Mae Tilghman, 58, of Princess Anne, Maryland for assault first degree.  The arrest stemmed from an assault complaint at 11825 Beechwood Street.  Tilghman was charged with assault first degree and assault second degree.  Tilghman was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $50,000.00 bond.  Tilghman was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 4-9-17, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 15-year-old juvenile with assault second degree.  The charge stemmed from an assault complaint at the playground area of the Princess Anne Townhouses, located off of Pine Knoll Drive.  The case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

 

  • On 4-9-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Timothy David Moffitt, 63, of Frankford, Delaware with a parole retake warrant.  Moffitt was released into the custody of the Eastern Correctional Institution.
