Princess Anne Police post latest incidents and arrests

PRINCESS ANNE — Princess Anne Police Chief Tim Bozman posts the latest incidents and arrests.

 

  • On 9-3-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Aunshae Denise Cottman, 33, of Princess Anne, Maryland for assault first degree.  The arrest stemmed from a domestic disturbance complaint at 11665 Beechwood Street.  Cottman was charged with assault first degree, assault second degree, reckless endangerment, and disorderly conduct.  Cottman was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $50,000 bond.  Cottman was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 9-3-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Xavier Alexander Price, 22, of Clinton, Maryland with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash.  The charge stemmed from an Officer observing Price colliding with another vehicle in the Arden’s Run apartment complex located off of UMES Boulevard and attempt to leave the scene without providing any information.  Price was charged leaving the scene of an unattended motor vehicle crash with providing required information and was subsequently released from the scene.

 

  • On 9-1-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Nicholas Ramone Mcintosh, 20, of Salisbury, Maryland for possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.  The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Mcintosh was found to be the operator of the vehicle.  Mcintosh was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance: marijuana, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, two counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, and several traffic citations.  Mcintosh was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $5,000.00 unsecure bond.

 

  • On 8-30-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Gregory Allan Ardis, 49, of Salisbury, Maryland for first degree assault.  The arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle collision complaint that occurred on Somerset Avenue near Harvey Russell Road.  The complaint turned into a robbery and assault investigation where Ardis was charged with assault first degree, assault second degree, and reckless endangerment.  Ardis was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $100,000.00 bond.  Ardis was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 8-29-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 16-year-old juvenile, of Princess Anne, Maryland with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.  The charge stemmed from an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle complaint at 12083 College Place.  The juvenile was charge unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and the case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.
