PRINCESS ANNE — Princess Anne Police Chief Tim Bozman posts the latest incidents and arrests handled by his department.

•    On 6-12-16, the Princess Anne Police Department served Luther Lorenzo Robinson, 64, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court criminal summons.  The criminal summons charged Robinson with assault 2nd degree which stemmed from an incident that occurred on 5-28-16 near 12084 College Place.  Robinson was released upon signing for the criminal summons.

•    On 6-11-16, the Princess Anne Police Department served Sherina Andrea Jones, 31, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court criminal summons.  The criminal summons charged Jones with assault 2nd degree, contribute to the condition of child, disorderly conduct, and affray which stemmed from an incident that occurred on 5-28-16 near 12084 College Place.  Jones was released upon signing for the criminal summons.

•    On 6-10-16, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the area of Hampden Avenue and Beckford Avenue in reference to a disturbance.  Investigation revealed that several juveniles were involved in a fight.  A 15 year old juvenile, of Princess Anne, Maryland was charged with disorderly conduct, assault 2nd degree, and affray.  A 16 year old juvenile, of Princess Anne, Maryland was charged with disorderly conduct, assault 2nd degree, and affray.  A 17 year old juvenile, of Princess Anne, Maryland was charged with disorderly conduct, assault 2nd degree, and affray.  A second 16 year old juvenile, of Princess Anne, Maryland was charged with two counts of assault 2nd degree, deadly weapon, and affray.  The case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

•    On 6-9-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 15 year old juvenile, of Princess Anne, Maryland with assault 2nd degree.  The charge stemmed from an assault complaint at 12366 Somerset Avenue.  The case was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

•    On 6-7-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Drew William Evans, 44, of Berlin, Maryland for driving while impaired by alcohol.  The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Evans was found to be the operator.  Evans was charged with operating a vehicle while not being restrained by a seatbelt, negligent driving, fail to display license upon demand, driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and driving while impaired by alcohol.  Evans was released from custody after being issued his citations.

•    On 6-6-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Andre Demetris Dennis, 41, of Princess Anne, Maryland with trespassing.  The charge stemmed from an officer observing Dennis on the property of the Royal Farms store located at 30452 Mt. Vernon Road.  Dennis was issued a criminal citation for trespassing and was subsequently released from custody.
