Princess Anne Police post latest incidents and arrests

PRINCESS ANNE — The Princess Anne Police Department posts the following incidents and arrests.

 

  • On 9-27-15, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Naquan Rommel Jones, 21, of Princess Anne Maryland for providing a false statement.       The arrest stemmed from a theft investigation that occurred near 11795 Somerset Avenue. Jones was charged with making a false statement to an officer and was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Jones on personal recognizance.

 

  • On 9-27-15, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested a 14 year old juvenile of Princess Anne Maryland for theft. The arrest stemmed from a theft investigation that occurred near 11795 Somerset Avenue. The juvenile was charged with theft less than $100.00, resisting arrest, fleeing and eluding an officer, and providing a false statement to an officer.       Jones was released to a guardian and the case has been referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

 

  • On 9-21-15, the Princess Anne Police Department served Keith James Parker Jr., 28, of Salisbury Maryland with an outstanding District Court bench warrant for failure to appear. Parker Jr. was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $2,500.00 bond. Parker Jr. was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 9-21-15, the Princess Anne Police Department served Shanetra Anita Tilghman, 22, of Princess Anne Maryland with an outstanding District Court arrest warrant. The arrest warrant charged Tilghman with malicious destruction of property over $1,000.00, retaliate-witness, intimidate/influence juror that occurred in July of 2015. Tilghman was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $13,000.00 bond.       Tilghman was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 10-3-15, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the Talons Square South apartment complex in reference to a home invasion / armed robbery.       Investigation revealed that the suspects entered one of the apartments and demanded money and items from the victims. The suspects did display firearms; however no one was injured during the incident. The suspects are described as five black males, one wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, one wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, one wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, and one wearing a lighter colored hooded sweatshirt that may be approximately 5’8 to 5’9”. The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is urged to contact PAPD at 410-651-1822 or Crime Solvers of the Lower Eastern Shore at 410-548-1776. Information can be anonymous and monetary rewards are possible for information that leads to an arrest.
