Princess Anne Police lists latest incidents and arrests

PRINCESS ANNE — The Princess Anne Police Department reports the following incidents and arrests.

  • On 4-23-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Carlos Lamonte Wise, 41, of Princess Anne, Maryland, for an outstanding District Court arrest warrant.  The warrant charged Wise with three counts of theft less than $100.00 and one count of theft $1,000.00 to under $10,000.00.  Wise was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued an unsecure $5,000.00 bond.

 

  • On 4-22-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 15 year old juvenile, of Princess Anne, Maryland with malicious destruction of property.  The charge stemmed from a malicious destruction of property complaint that occurred at 11499 Beckford Avenue.  The incident has been forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Services.

 

  • On 4-21-16, the Princess Anne Police Department served Vincent Eric Cottman, 57, of Princess Anne, Maryland, with an outstanding District Court arrest warrant.  The warrant charged Cottman with attempted assault first degree assault and reckless endangerment from an incident that occurred on 4-14-16 at 12020 Somerset Avenue.  Cottman was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $50,000.00 bond.  Cottman was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 4-20-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Andre Demetris Dennis, 41, of Princess Anne, Maryland for trespassing.  The arrest stemmed from a panhandling complaint at the Dollar General store located at 30371 Mt Vernon Road.  Dennis was issued two criminal citations for trespassing and failure to obey a lawful order along with a civil citation for panhandling.  Dennis was released from custody after being issued his citations.

 

  • On 4-17-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Lawan Myrick, 35, of Suffolk, Virginia, for having a handgun on his person.  The arrest stemmed from a disturbance at the Somerset County Civic Center located at 11828 Crisfield Lane.  Myrick was charged with affray, disorderly conduct, and having a handgun on person.  Myrick was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued no bond.  Myrick was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.
