Princess Anne Police list latest incidents and arrests

PRINCESS ANNE — Timothy Bozman, chief of the Princess Anne Police Department, announces the following incidents and arrests.

 

  • On 4-1-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Jacqueline Elizabeth Leatherbury, 26, of Westover, Maryland for a home invasion.  The arrest stemmed from a home invasion investigation that occurred on 4-1-17 at 11747 Beechwood Street.  Leatherbury was charged with armed robbery, home invasion, assault 1st degree, and assault 2nd degree.  Leatherbury was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued no bond.  Leatherbury was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 3-28-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Dante Antony Curtis, 24, of Princess Anne, Maryland for driving while impaired by alcohol.  The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Curtis was found to be the operator.  Curtis was charged with driving vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, attempt by driver to elude uniformed police by failing to stop, attempt by driver to elude police in official police vehicle by failing to stop, negligent driving, failure to display license upon demand, driving motor vehicle on highway without required license, and driving on a revoked license and privilege.  Curtis was subsequently released from custody upon being issued his citations.

 

  • On 3-27-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Maria Lynn Harris, 32, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court criminal summons.  The criminal summons charged Harris with burglary 4th degree in regards to an incident that occurred on 1-20-17.  Harris was released from custody upon being issued her copy of the criminal summons.
