Princess Anne Police incidents and arrests

PRINCESS ANNE — Chief Timothy R. Bozman announces the latest incidents and arrests handled by the Princess Anne Police Department.

 

  • On 7-24-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Walter Leonard Banks, 69, of Salisbury, Maryland for malicious destruction of property over $1,000.00.  The arrest stemmed from a complaint of Banks damaging vehicles in the parking lot of 30639 Hampden Avenue.  Banks was charged with malicious destruction of property over $1,000.00, disturbing the peace, disturbing the peace hinder passage, disorderly conduct, and cds possession not marijuana.  Banks was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Banks on an unsecure $10,000.00 bond.

 

  • On 7-23-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Rodney Columbus Christopher, 34, of Princess Anne, Maryland with trespassing.  The charge stemmed from a trespassing complaint at 11949 Somerset Avenue.  Christopher was issued criminal citations for trespassing, malicious destruction of property less than $1,000.00 and a traffic citation for driving an unregistered motor vehicle.  Christopher was released from custody upon being issued the citations.

 

  • On 7-21-16, the Princess Anne Police Department served Charles Alex Showell Jr., 49, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court criminal summons.  The criminal summons charged Showell Jr. with three counts of animal cruelty in regards to an incident that occurred on 7-8-16.  Showell, Jr. was released from custody upon being served with the criminal summons.

 

  • On 7-19-16, the Princess Anne Police Department served Robert Lee Jefferson, 25, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court criminal summons out of Wicomico County.  The criminal summons charged Jefferson with fraud and credit card theft.  Jefferson was released from custody upon being served with the criminal summons.

 

  • On 7-19-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Sabrina Renee Collins, 32, of Princess Anne, Maryland for assault first degree.  The arrest stemmed from a 911 hang up complaint at 30451 Oak Street.  Collins was charged with assault fist degree, assault second degree, and reckless endangerment.  Collins was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $10,000.00 bond.  Collins was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.
