Princess Anne Police cite three for impaired driving charges

PRINCESS ANNE — The Princess Anne Police Department releases the following cases of charges related to impaired motorists.

• On 7-8-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Patrick Thomas Guzi, 56, of Princess Anne, Maryland for driving while under the influence of alcohol. The arrest stemmed from an officer observing Guzi operating a motor vehicle as he arrived to the Princess Anne Police Department for an unrelated incident. Guzi was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while under the influence of alcohol per se, driving while impaired by alcohol, and negligent driving. Guzi was subsequently released from custody after being issued his citations.

• On 7-4-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Juan Ramon Carranza Canizales, 50, of Yuma, Arizona with driving while under the influence of alcohol. The arrest stemmed from officers responding to the drive-thru of the McDonald’s restaurant, located at 12112 Brittingham Lane in reference to a disturbance. Canizales was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, and negligent driving. Canizales was subsequently released from custody upon being issued his citations.

• On 6-26-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Richard Douglas Reynolds, 68, of Princess Anne, Maryland for driving while under the influence of alcohol. The arrest stemmed from officers responding to a complaint of a person who was passed out in a vehicle in the area of 11726 Somerset Avenue. Reynolds was identified as the operator of the vehicle and was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and driving vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Reynolds was subsequently released from custody upon being issued his citations.
