PRINCESS ANNE — Once again Princess Anne merchants are taking part in Small Business Saturday, which is Nov. 25. It’s always the day after Black Friday, and is intended to focus shoppers away from the “big box” stores that get so much attention the day after Thanksgiving.

This year several businesses are participating, from Harris ACE Hardware and Price Cutters to Junior’s Wines. Then there are the three antiques and collectible marts: Somerset Choice, Somerset Hidden Treasures and Hayman’s Antiques in the former C.H. Hayman hardware building.

When you need a break stop by the Washington Inn & Tavern for a free dessert with your lunch entrée (reservation required, call 443-399-3353).
