PRINCESS ANNE — A 20-year-old Princess Anne man was arrested by town police July 11 for second degree assault in a case that stemmed from an investigation into an alleged assault that occurred at 30834 Hampden Avenue. Dontrell Lamonte Braxton was also served with a District Court arrest warrant for a separate case that charged him with assault (first and second degrees) and reckless endangerment.

Braxton was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released him on a $10,000 unsecured bond.

On June 28, Princess Anne police charged Camesa Renee Phillips, 27, of Salisbury, with theft less than $100. The incident stemmed from a theft investigation at the Dollar General store located on Mt. Vernon Road.

Phillips was issued a criminal citation for theft and released from custody.
