By choosing to drink from United Way Pepsi machines, Lower Eastern Shore residents are able to enjoy their favorite soft drink products, knowing they are helping to improve the lives of their neighbors in need. With products purchased from the specially marked machines, a percentage of every dollar or $1.25 purchase is donated to United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore. In less than a year, the initiative has raised over $1,910 with nearly 45 local companies participating.

Pepsi Bottling Ventures has a longstanding partnership with United Way. Since 2000, employee and corporate campaign contributions have totaled nearly $564,000 and are annually ranked among the “Top 50” companies that contribute to United Way.

Now in its 71st year, United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore continues to be the largest non-governmental source of funding for 57 critical programs in Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset and Dorchester Counties.
