SALISBURY - Pauline Phillips Powell died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. Born in Pocomoke City, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland "Cleve" and Beatrice Phillips.
A graduate of Pocomoke High School, she was employed at the Big Star Supermarket, where she retired after 24 years of service.
She was survived by family members, Fenda Phillips Whitelock of Mardela Springs, Manda Ruark of Salisbury, Cameron Ruark of Salisbury, Brenda Draper of Salisbury, Donnie Powell of Snow Hill, Ginger Faye Pettit, Brooke Fransler and Diane Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Charlie" Powell.
A graveside service was held Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, at the First Baptist Cemetery in Pocomoke City.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
