Patsy Oliver

MILLSBORO - Patsy "Pat" Oliver died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, Md. Born in Millsboro, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Etta Roberts Burton.
A graduate of the former William C. Jason High School in Georgetown, she was formerly employed with several local poultry companies, worked as a janitor for the Wicomico County Board of Education and was also employed with the Mr. Meticulous Cleaning Co. in Salisbury. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Salisbury.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Norman Oliver of Salisbury; six children, Pamella Oliver of Elkridge, Md., Ricky Oliver of Stockton, Calif., Tanya Oliver of Atlanta, Ga., Valair Mann of Manassas, Va., Crystal Allen of Raleigh, N.C., and Parris Oliver of Mardela Springs; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two siblings, Frederick Burton of Whaleyville and Mary Ann Adkins of Millsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at Dickerson's Chapel AME Church in Millsboro. Interment was in Old Field Cemetery in Millsboro. Arrangements are in the care of Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury.
