SALISBURY - Patricia Ann Greer died Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake. Born in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Bartyczak and Evelyn Cumberland Bartyczak, and the wife of the late Larry Dennis Greer, who died in 1985.
She was a school teacher for 43 years with the Wicomico County Board of Education, retiring in 2014. Thirty-four of those years were at Prince Street Elementary School. She had been a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church since 1973, where she was actively involved.
She is survived by her son, Spencer Scott Greer of Bel Air, Md.; two granddaughters; a brother, Ronald Bartyczak of Columbia, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at Bethesda United Methodist Church. Interment was the following day at Wicomico Memorial Park. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
