Omar Stoltzfus

SALISBURY - Omar Stoltzfus died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Aurora Senior Living of Manokin. Born in Elverson, Pa., he was the son of the late David and Sadie Mast Stoltzfus.
He worked as a farmer in both Pennsylvania and Maryland and then later owned and operated Omar Stoltzfus Trucking in Delmar. His final employment with National Vault. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men.
He is survived by two daughters, Ruth Bates of Princess Anne and Mary Jane Eby of Snow Hill; a son, David Stoltzfus of Snow Hill; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Mast Stoltzfus; four sisters, Edna Ebersole, Lois Petersheim, Esther Wilson and Rebecca Leatherman; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Omar was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Ross Stoltzfus; two sons, Omar Stoltzfus Jr. and Lee Stoltzfus; and three brothers and three sisters.
A funeral service was held Monday, July 9, 2018, at Bethesda United Methodist Church in Salisbury. Interment was in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
