Olin Wesley 'Buster'Briggs Jr.

FEDERALSBURG - Olin Wesley "Buster" Briggs Jr., 55, passed away at his home on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007.

He was born on Dec. 25, 1951, the son of the late Olin Wesley Briggs Sr. and Magdalene Johnson Briggs.

He graduated from Col. Richardson High School Class of 1969. He served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. He had worked at Maryland Plastics Co. in Federalsburg.

Mr. Briggs is survived by three children, Olin Bolden and Olindia Bolden, both serving our country in the armed forces, Michelle Cannon of Worcester, Mass.; six grandchildren; two brothers, William Briggs of Seaford, Del., Gordon Briggs of Laurel; three sisters, Beatrice Murphy of Dorchester, Mass., Hazel Cornish and Eva Briggs, both of Cambridge; an aunt, Florence Simms; three uncles, George Simms, Naman Palmer, John Littlejohn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kirby Briggs, and a sister, Mary Alberta Briggs.

Funeral services for him will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Rev. Stanley Ricketts officiating. Burial will follow at Federal Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
