HURLOCK - Norris Gary North, 38, died on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Memorial Hospital at Easton.

Born in Easton May 12, 1970, he was the son of Margaret Ann Pete and birth father, Norman Jerry North. He was a 1988 graduate of Easton High School where he was a member of the wrestling team and marching band. He worked as a bus driver for the Dorchester County School System.

A volunteer for the production team at the Bowie Ice Skating Rink, he also enjoyed cooking, baking bread, golf, fishing and most of all spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, birthfather and stepmother, Judith North, Mr. North is survived by maternal grandmother, Ellen M. Hunley of Salisbury; paternal grandmother, Ella M. North of Easton; his wife, the former Rebecca Wegener, whom he married Dec. 23, 1992; two daughters, Erin and Samantha North; a sister, Tina Wooters of Easton; a brother, Greg North of Federalsburg; his Dad, Albert A. Pete Jr. of Cambridge; two stepsisters, Angie Safrit of Seaford and Trina Schyler of Church Creek; two stepbrothers, Jeff and Robb; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., Easton, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at Dorchester Memorial Park, Cambridge.
