GEORGETOWN - Norman H. "Bunky" Crockett, Jr. passed away on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on Dec. 5, 1943, in Crisfield, Md., he was the son of the late Norman H., Sr. & Ida Jean Christy Crockett. Bunky was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and target shooting. His hobbies also included carpentry and the love of his pets. He retired from the DuPont Co. in Seaford in 2001 after 36 years of service where he was a mechanic. He also had been a member of the National Guard. Mr. Crockett is survived by his wife, Teresa Boyce Crockett of Georgetown; two daughters, Miranda "Mandie" Granger and her husband Michael and Rachael Fulford and her husband Nicholas; a son, Norman Crockett III all of Laurel; a sister, Angel Bunner of Laurel; a brother, David Crockett of Salisbury; two grandsons, Luke and Logan Granger; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service was held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at 2 p.m. at 16091 Willow Way at Woods of Trap Pond, Laurel, DE. (Mandie's home). Friends and relatives were invited and asked to come in casual dress.
