Norma Lee Era, 90

SECRETARY - Norma Lee Era, 90, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Chesapeake Woods Center in Cambridge.

She was born Feb. 16, 1918 in Secretary, daughter of the late William B. and Della Hurst Bradshall.

She was a member of St. Luke's Church in Secretary.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Elliott of East New Market; three grandsons, David Smith Jr. of Williamsburg and his wife, Michelle, Steve Smith of East New Market and his wife, Tracey and Will Massey of Salisbury and his wife, Louie; six great-grandchildren, Brayden Smith, Michaela Smith, Mattie Smith, Hunter Massey, Tyler Massey and Parker Massey; two sisters, Virginia Carroll of Secretary, Faye Willey of East New Market and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Era was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey "Doc" Era and one daughter, Sharon Ward; and one sister, Betty Smith.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the East New Market Cemetery with Pastor Robert King officiating.

Donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Era to St. Luke's Church, c/o Jeanette Green, P.O. Box 94, Secretary, MD 21664.

The Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market is handling the arrangements.
