PRINCESS ANNE — If the watchful eye of God wasn’t powerful enough, now the State Police are involved to help catch whoever may have stolen figures from a nativity scene in Princess Anne.
The home of Sidney and Carolyn Merrill at 11931 Crisfield Lane had the lighted display out front, and sometime between Sunday and Monday, Dec. 27-28, a sheep and a shepherd went missing. Mr. Merrill reported it to police after noticing it around 10 a.m. Monday.
“God saw them do it,” Mr. Merrill said, adding that he will be satisfied if the figures are returned back to the house. Otherwise anyone who knows anything about this is asked to call the MSP at 410-651-3101.
