HURLOCK - Nelson Leon Cook, 56, died on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007 at home surrounded by family.
Born in Easton, he was the son of the late William Albert II and Corenia Haynes. At the time of his death he was employed at J&H Rebuilders in Crofton.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William A. (Sonny) Cook III.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Juanita A. Cook of Hurlock; two aunts, Myrtle Cook and Gertrude Green, both of Preston; mother and father-in-law, Beatrice and Enoch Rich of Sanford, N.C; two daughters, Bonta"Hayman of Trappe and Shamika Rich of Denton; two sons, Nelson Hill of Dover, Del. and Jordan Cook of Cordova; five grandchildren, Amaria, La"Keshia, Dominique, Jalen, Jvier and Anthony; one daughter-in-law, Tamara Burns-Hill of Dover; one sister-in-law, Danielle Lake of Denton; four brothers-in-law, Richard Seth of Sanford, N.C., Gordan Rich, Darien Rich, Terrance Rich, all of Denton and a number of nieces, cousins and other family.
Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Ross Chapel AME Church in Pinetown. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Ross Chapel AME Church where friends may view two hours prior. Burial will be private.
