CAMBRIDGE - Minnie J. Hehn, 87, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at Mallard Bay Care Center.
She was born in Baltimore on Aug. 17, 1919 and was a daughter of the late Raymond and Minnie Byer Hehn.
Miss Hehn graduated from high school in Baltimore City. She had worked as a clerk for an insurance company in Baltimore and also for Maryland Tote.
She was a member of the Dorchester General Hospital Auxiliary and had worked in the Gift shop at Dorchester General Hospital.
Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting, reading and doing crossword puzzles. Miss Hehn was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a niece, Shirley Mae Leitner of Baltimore City; two nephews, Raymond Leitner of Baltimore City and John C. Leitner of Baltimore County.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Cambridge with the Rev. Douglas M. Ridley officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Minnie J. Hehn Scholarship Fund, c/o the Gift Shop at Dorchester General Hospital, P.O. Box 439, Cambridge, MD 21613.
The services are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
